Did the omakase experience here and I loved it! It ended up being 14 pieces of nigiri plus some extras. We didn't sit at the bar but it was still great nonetheless. The service was great and the staff was very knowledgeable. Upscale vibes inside. This is everything we had: Salmon albacore blue fin tuna from Spain sashimi - albacore was my favorite of the bunch Seaweed konbu - I loved the konbu Strawberries - a nice contrast Toro handroll - very fresh and tasty Albacore - same albacore from earlier Blue fin tuna - same tuna from earlier, not my fave tuna Toro - delicious Sea bream - super flavorful Flounder - also very strong Tamago dobu in a dashi broth- broth was so good Salmon - yum! Sockeye salmon - probably most disappointing of the menu Sweet Shrimp - this was my favorite! Blue fin tuna - ok tuna Seared tuna- probably best seared I had, not typically a fan of seared Kanpachi - yummy Almost snapper - didn't catch exactly what this was but chewy Umi - very solid piece Scallop - ok for scallop Sushi donut eel - unique and delicious Tamago - one of the best I've had Miso soup - a great end to the meal

Once a year we're here to celebrate his straight A year. This year was another epic visit. Have never had the privilege of Jirosan preparing our sushi, but have seen him for others at the sushi bar. How awesome is it to see the actual celeb chef involved in the day to day and overseeing his disciples?! Never a disappointment.

Excellent sushi, amazing service (Brandon and the entire team was great), located a few steps away from Pike Place Market (very romantic and intimate experience) We had 5pm reservations and when we arrived 5 mins prior to opening there was already a line out the door. My suggestion would be make reservations if you want to dine in as Sushi Kashiba is one of the best / if not the best Sushi spot in Seattle. We wanted to try a bit of everything on this evening so went with the Omakase and just let the chef send dishes to the table. Every single item was excellent! Highly recommend if you want to enjoy an evening out / amazing sushi.

We had an awesome experience at Sushi Kashiba! Starting off with service and ambiance. Both were great. Our waiter (I think his name was Joe) was fabulous and attentive. We started with the tuna poké salad which was fresh and a great way to start the meal. We then ordered all 3 specialty rolls that were available, followed by quite a few pieces of nigiri. I included a photo of the "a la carte" menu and our rankings of both the rolls and nigiri :) everything was very high quality. The only thing I would note is I am not the biggest wasabi fan, and I think all the nigiri we ordered had wasabi on them. I just asked for my last few pieces to come without it, and they were happy to accommodate! Definitely a pricey meal, but very special and a perfect date night. We will be back!

For $150 we tasted the freshness of Japan in Seattle! This was my third time going to Sushi Kashiba and the quality has improved. The omakase menu this time has lots of sushi and a wide range of fishes. The sauce has definitely toned down on the salt and made the ingredients speak for itself. One highlight was the incorporation of mountain yam in the appetizer, tofu and tamago which shows how much they care about using the freshest ingredients at their prime time. The service was very fast and the servers described the food in a way that makes it more appetizing. Super attentive where green tea was always refilled. Sushi Kashiba is always packed so it's quite loud in the restaurant but it still feels elegant and looks super clean. I know it's not cheap but it's worth it!

If you haven't been to Sushi Kashiba yet, it's a must!! I came with 2 friends and we sat at the bar. The dining area had a bit of a wait, so I recommend making a reservation before hand. It was a slightly intimate setting and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Poke and Miso soup. It was perfection! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

It's been a week since my omakase experience here and I'm still thinking about it. We lined up an hour and a half early on a Friday evening, I think we could have gotten away with coming an hour earlier instead but we wanted to ensure our spot in the first round of people seated. Service was very friendly and super attentive. I liked how interactive the chefs were and how they'd share tidbits of information throughout the experience. Very generous amounts of sushi. We were super stuffed by the end of it. Everything was really amazing and mouth watering good. So worth the wait.

One of the best omakases I've had! I came here with my partner for our 4th anniversary dinner and it was absolutely amazing. The tasting course was fabulous, but I think the extra piece of fatty yellowtail we ordered at the end really blew our minds. The fish here is just so fresh! I also loved meeting Chef Kashiba, who stopped by our table near the end of the meal to thank us for coming.

Omakase will leave you stuff and satisfied! We had the omakase and order individual sake on the side. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes and sake. The omakase was true to authentic Japanese cuisine with no filler just all thrillers! So many delicious and different nigiri. It was well worth the price, definitely recommend this place for amazing sushi in Seattle with nice ambiance!
